With LeanView, an A3 Report can be automatically created in Microsoft Word to provide a side-by-side comparison between any two value path states.
Once the current or baseline and future or ideal state value paths are defined, navigate to the LeanView menu and select the A3 Report from the Microsoft Word Analysis/Report options. Identify the location of the value paths to be compared and optionally, incorporate a cause and effect diagram. (Note that the Current and Future State Value Stream Paths must reside in the same Visio file.)
